Update on our services during Canada Post Strike

Water Rangers is working to ensure your orders arrive on time

On November 15 2024, Canada Post workers went on strike. This strike by workers has caused disruptions to the delivery of mail and parcels across the country. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially if you’re eagerly awaiting a product or order to arrive. As a small social enterprise that values our customers and their experience, Water Rangers wants to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to make sure your orders continue to be shipped smoothly, despite the ongoing labor disruption.

While Canada Post handles the majority of parcel shipments in the country, we’ve made arrangements to continue shipping your purchases without delay. In light of the strike, we’ve partnered with several private carriers, including UPS, Canpar, DHL, and FedEx, to ensure your items still get to you on time.

How Water Rangers is Managing Shipments During the Strike

At the heart of our operations is a commitment to customer satisfaction and smooth service, even when external circumstances, like a postal strike, may throw a wrench in the works. While we can’t control the delays or interruptions caused by Canada Post, we’ve found ways to maintain our promise of reliable delivery by working with trusted private carriers.

When placing an order on our website, you have the option to choose the level of shipping service you prefer. This allows you to tailor your shipping method to meet your needs and gives you more flexibility during this uncertain time.

Checkout Instructions

Once you’ve filled your cart and are ready to check out, you’ll see the following shipping options which will appear as Canada Post options, but are just the service standards/prices that we will use to determine your shipping:

  1. $5 Flat Rate or Free shipping: This option uses the Regular Parcel standard for Canada Post, and will be fulfilled by a private carrier at the same level of service
  2. Expedited Shipping: For faster delivery times, this will typically be handled in a few bussines days, ensuring that your item arrives at a reasonable speed while maintaining reliability.
  3. Express Shipping: If you need your order delivered as quickly as possible, we offer expedited services through premium carriers like FedEx or DHL. This will get your package to you in the shortest time frame possible, even during the strike.

Once you select your preferred shipping method, we will handle the rest. Our team will make sure that your order is securely packaged and transferred to the selected carrier for delivery.

Why Choose Private Carriers?

The strike may be causing delays for some shipments with Canada Post, but our use of private carriers ensures that you won’t experience the same setbacks. Private carriers like UPS, Canpar, DHL, and FedEx have extensive networks and reliable service that aren’t impacted by the strike. Whether you’re shipping within Canada or abroad, these carriers are committed to providing high-quality service regardless of external disruptions.

In addition, private carriers offer a variety of tracking tools and delivery guarantees, so you’ll always know where your package is. If you have any concerns or questions about your shipment, their customer support teams are ready to help.
