Our Education testkit is specifically designed with educators in mind! We’ve curated the experience to help teachers become experts in water testing, giving youth hands-on experiences by the water.

Freshwater Explorer Testkit

We designed our Freshwater explorer testkit for people of all ages.

No previous testing experience required. Our field guides and training videos include step-by-step directions on how to use the different tests, understand the results, and record your observations in our app. This kit is a great way for small organizations and individuals to gather data on their lakes and rivers without breaking the bank.

You can also add on a private training webinar. In it, one of our skilled Water Quality or Education Coordinators will teach you how to use your testkit and how to upload your results to our data platform.

You can also add your own custom design for an additional fee. These should be in a single colour as a simple line graphic. We will create a mockup for your approval!

Our smallest testkit, the Tiny Testkit is designed for young learners with no previous water testing experience and for those wanting an introduction to water testing. Freshwater conductivity calibration solution

Your conductivity meter needs to be calibrated before each testing season, and this is what you’ll need to do it! This solution comes with instructions on how to complete your calibration with confidence. Size of the calibration solution pouch is 20ml.

Teststrips

These test strips help you to test the chemical makeup of water. They’re accurate and easy to use! You can use them to measure pH, Alkalinity, Chlorine, and Total Hardness – all important markers of water health.

Conductivity meter

Transparency turbidity tube with Secchi disk

This turbidity can be used to measure turbidity, otherwise known as water clarity. Comes with an 18″ Tube (45cm), a 14-240 NTU measurement sticker on the side and a secchi disk inside the tube.
