Funding for educators
Our goal is to make ocean-water-climate learning accessible to all, so we’ve put together a list of grants to support educators to get our kits! We try to update this page regularly, but please review the requirements and deadlines through the links to make sure you qualify.

| Learning for a Sustainable Future | Funding for Canadian K-12 students and teachers to engage their school and community in sustainability Action Projects. | Wildlife Habitat Canada Community Conservation Action Program Grant | Projects that Connect Canadians with nature, engage youth in consevation, or provide conservation programming. Open to Canadian non-profit organizations, educational institutions, indigenous organizations, local organizations. | October 4, 2024 | $1000-$10,000 |
| WWF Wild for Schools Program | Middle and high schools fostering environmental leadership through hands-on/digital practices, campaigns, and events related to nature, climate change impact, and healthy ecosystems. | Yearly cycle, applications reopen fall 2024 | Not specified |
| Blue Schools Canada Experiential Learning Grant | Funding for schools to offset costs of experiential activities related to ocean-water-climate learning in Canada. Must be an active Blue Schools member (join here!) | Yearly cycle, applications reopen fall 2024 | Up to $500 |
| Jane Goodall Foundation A.P.E Fund | Funds high-needs Roots & Shoots projects in Biodiversity loss, Environmental Inequity, and Climate Change. Must be a Roots & Shoots member (learn more). | Applications reopen November 2024 | up to $1000 |
| TD Friends of the Environment Foundation Grant | Eligible organizations: registered Canadian charities, educational institutions, municipalities, and indigenous groups.
