This testkit allows you to test for E. coli without bringing samples to a lab. It’s accurate enough to help you understand if there are issues, but it is not sensitive enough to determine official swimming standards. We recommend this method to help uncover issues related to spills, leaks, and run-off and their effects (testing before and after).

Choose the 1ml variation if you expect to find higher E. Coli counts ie. above 500 cfu/100ml. They start showing results at 100cfu/100ml and higher

The 3ml variation has a more sensitive card – they start showing results at 33cfu/100ml and higher.

 

Incubator

You will need an incubator and you can source one yourself. For your convenience, we have sourced egg incubators that you can use and adjust to 35°C to incubate your E. coli tests (up to 12 cards at a time).
